I wish the video were more descriptive of what it does / showed other uses of this strange object

The creepy guy with the eye and finger is um…creepy. I’m not sure if you made it? Or if it is an icon for your project?<---haha, what the computer thinks we are? weird ^^ I know that during our in between critique you mentioned that you can tweet something like “yo bro, can you have that elevator waiting in five minutes” then the thing can understand and accomplish it, I’m not sure if you accomplished that but it would be interesting to see a page of all the tweets it’s received. Intriguing and disturbing 😀 pp Love the Twitter idea That it is the physical manifestation of a design idea, “the computer’s notion of a person” I think this project only really has relevance to the small group of people embedded in the design/art/internet of things world. It’s isolated from everyday life. (e.g., its unlikely that someone on the bus would care.) I think looking at how computers see humans has potential to have a broader message/concept, but this gets obscure. Ali’s right—if you’re going to be very niche about this, then it should be more clearly targeted at the people in the niche. Cute and creepy, want to see it attempt more things than just pressing elevator button Are you commanding the finger to move or asking it? How do you personify this Go look at everything in the “Talk to Me” exhibition at MoMA curated by Paola Antonelli. Yes, the question is: what buttons does it push ? Go on a world tour of interesting The design is indeed very interesting, and I think it would be cool to see them all over the place having different functions, so you can find out what each one does.
