Explorable 3D timelapses generated from intimate LIDAR captures.
Using ofxTimeline, ofxMSATimer, ofxRange, ofxTimecode, and ofxTween, I made an app that takes large LIDAR captures (in this case, over a period of 8 hours), visualizes a planned animation of the space, and renders the animation as images (video frames) to file which can be compiled in Photoshop as video. Here, I took a timelapse of myself sleeping. I never knew I moved so much in my sleep, or made such extravagant poses. Also, note how the closer it gets to sunrise, the more I begin to toss and turn. (see here for a looping video)
