Since Chatroulette is all the rage these days, I decided to freak people out on the website by flipping their faces upside down.

The project was implemented as a plugin for a mac webcam augmentation software named CamTwist using OpenCV and Apple’s Core Image.

    Hawt! We have to roll this out carefully. It could go viral. Wanna make sure you get properly credited, etc.

    Full screen video capture with the audio is the perfect way to show off this work (since it shows people’s full reactions to it) – fabulous. It seems like you don’t even need the slides, you could just show these videos in a long loop (or even a live session) and it would be entertaining/engaging enough. (That said, it does give a nice commentary on the state of chatroulette – but is it really necessary? Maybe I’m just thinking about the “purity” of what you’ve captured here.) -SB
