I love this project – GLOW, by John Haber. In this video, a dancer performs in front of a glow-in-the-dark background. At periodic intervals, a large flash of light is emitted, re-exposing the background to light. Based on the way the material reacts to the light, a path of the dancer’s body is left behind on the backdrop.

It’s really gorgeous and elegant, and relies on the natural properties the material being used to create a sort of ephemeral record of the dancer’s body. No code was used, but I can easily imagine it inspiring a code-based project.
